Looking forward to trying CW

Well once i get some time off work to get the shack set up :mrgreen:

not got a key yet but once up and running I will get one sorted.

I did morse back in the early 2000's when I was studying for my ships second officers ticket. so hopefully the foundations are still there bobbin around in the back end of my brain lol :lol:

I would love to try CW it's something I've always wanted to learn. Is it quite difficult to learn would you say?

It's a little challenging to learn, back in the early 2000's I got through my exma at I think 9 words Per minute. so hopefully I can retreive it from the deep dark depths of my memory.

I'm sure you will mate! Like learning to ride a bike I guess lol. I really want to learn morse just need a key and time to learn it.

Thanks mate, my Dad used to be a ships/trawler radio operator and used morse daily, he told me to start converting things like car number plates to morse in your head as you walk around. I was talking to Dad and one of his old RO mates who now lives over seas and they are both reminiscing about thier days of morse lol and both saying they might look at getting licensed.
